Choir Life

Rehearsals are held in St Andrew’s Church, Ledbury Road, Netherton, PE3 7RF every Tuesday, this year starting on 3rd September. You can find dates below. Rehearsals are from 7.30 - 9.30pm, which includes a short break, and are led by our Musical Director, Bradley Smith. Open Rehearsals are open to anyone who would like to sing.

Performances

In Autumn Term we perform a concert in November and a Carol Concert in December in a local church. In Spring Term we perform a concert in March and in Summer Term we perform a lighter concert towards the end of June. The penultimate rehearsal for these performances is always held in the venue in the afternoon of the concert.

Music Scores

The Librarian ensures that there are music copies available. These are booked from libraries, specific choir music banks or more locally if at all possible. There will be a small charge for these copies but members can purchase scores independently.

Subscriptions

The membership subscriptions are £80 per term. There are reduced rates for students. Each term subscription can be paid for separately by bank transfer or by monthly direct debit.

Social Events

The choir has fun at our social events which are held throughout the year. Christmas celebration meals as well as social events and our famous Fish, Chips and Quiz night which are always well attended. There is something for everyone.
